Fallout 4 & Uncharted Collection Announced - Game Watch Weekly #20

The biggest PlayStation stories from the week and my reactions to them! First published: 06/06/2015.

Fallout 4 Announced With First Trailer

Not only the biggest news of the week, but also probably the reason for the lack thereof is Fallout 4. On Wednesday Bethesda put the end to months - if not years - of speculation through the first trailer for the game.

So big was this announcement, that I gave it its own Game Watch where I summarise all the news and let you know what I think of the trailer. To read Fallout 4 Summary & Reactions - A Game Watch Special, click here

Uncharted Collection Revealed

On Thursday Naughty Dog, developers of the Uncharted games, announced a collection which bundles the first three together. Drake's Fortune, Among Thieves and Drake's Deception are all bundled in the brand new "Nathan Drake Collection", which also grants access to the Uncharted 4 Multiplayer Beta on PS4. Since the announcement it has been confirmed that the original Multiplayer for the games in the collection will not be included in the remastered editions. Remastering is being done by Bluepoint Games.

I am very excited for this. Since I never owned a PS3, the Uncharted games passed me by, although I always wanted to play them! This is the perfect time to do that, especially with A Thief's End coming out early next year (if rumours from last week are to be believed).

New PS4 With Bigger Hard-Drive Rumoured

Documentation for two new models of the PS4 has been found by Dualshockers, The main difference seems to be that one of the models has a 1tb hard-drive. The other has the (currently) standard 500mb. Other differences include the power source being lowered from 250 watts to 230. Despite this, there is no clear re-design for the console.
